Direct Cremation

A simple, dignified cremation with no funeral or attendance.

Package Includes:

  • Use of a cremation capsule.

  • Unattended cremation (no funeral service).

  • Transfer of the deceased from the place of death (within a 35 km radius of Forbes).

  • Professional care and preparation of the deceased prior to cremation.

  • Cremation process.

  • Ashes returned in a standard urn supplied by the crematorium.

Optional Extras:

  • Selection of memorial urns.

  • Additional transfer fees for locations beyond 35 km from Forbes.

Not Included:

  • Interment of ashes (cemetery fees apply if required).

Standard Cremation Package

A dignified cremation service held in the chapel at Michael Hanley's Funeral Home.

Package Includes:

  • Funeral service conducted in the chapel at Michael Hanley's Funeral Home.

  • Composite veneer coffin.

  • Transfer of the deceased from the place of death (within a 35 km radius of Forbes).

  • Professional care and preparation of the deceased prior to the service.

  • Cremation following the funeral service.

Optional Extras:

  • Memorial urns.

  • Premium casket upgrade.

  • Additional transfer fees for locations beyond 35 km from Forbes.

  • Personalised service booklets.

  • Photo slideshow presentation.

  • Video recording and/or livestreaming of the service.

  • Floral arrangements.

  • Celebrant or clergy services.

  • Interment of ashes.

  • Alternative funeral venue (where available).

Not Included:

  • Cemetery interment fees.

  • Council and cemetery charges.

This package provides a meaningful farewell with a chapel service before cremation, while allowing families the flexibility to personalise the service with a range of optional additions.

Standard Burial Package

$5,500.00 (GST Inclusive)

A traditional funeral service followed by burial at your chosen cemetery.

Package Includes:

  • Funeral service at your preferred church.

  • Burial at your nominated cemetery.

  • Timber veneered flat lid coffin.

  • Professional care and preparation of the deceased prior to the funeral.

  • Transfer of the deceased from Michael Hanley's Funeral Home to the church and cemetery in our hearse.

  • Coordination and professional guidance throughout the funeral arrangements.

Optional Extras:

  • Premium casket upgrade.

  • Personalised floral arrangements.

  • Celebrant or clergy services.

  • Personalised service booklets.

  • Video recording and/or livestreaming of the service.

  • Monument or headstone.

Not Included:

  • Transfer of the deceased from the place of death.

  • Cemetery fees.

  • Grave purchase.

  • Grave digging.

  • Monument or memorial plaque.

This package provides a respectful and traditional church funeral service followed by burial, with the flexibility to personalise the service to honour your loved one.
