Cremation
A direct cremation provides a simple and dignified farewell without a formal funeral service. It is a practical option for families who prefer a private farewell or who wish to hold a memorial service at a later time and place that is meaningful to them.
At Michael Hanley's Funeral Home, every person entrusted to our care is treated with the utmost dignity, compassion and respect. We manage all aspects of the cremation process, including the transfer of your loved one into our care, professional preparation, all necessary documentation, and the cremation itself.
Following the cremation, the ashes are returned to the family in a standard urn supplied by the crematorium, allowing you the freedom to commemorate your loved one in your own way and at a time that feels right for you.

Dual Service
A Church/Chapel Funeral Service, followed by a Cemetery/Crematorium Service.
A Dual Funeral Service is a funeral held in two parts, with the first service taking place at either a chapel, church, or other chosen venue, followed by a procession to the final committal service at the cemetery.
Examples:
Initial funeral service held at a church, followed by the committal ceremony graveside.
You may wish to hold the service in your local church, honouring personal faith, tradition, or community connections. Alternatively, for cremation services, our chapel provides a peaceful and respectful space for a more intimate and personalised farewell.

Single Service
A Funeral Service held at a single location.
A single service funeral can take place at one of our funeral chapels, a church, a chapel, at the graveside or a special place.
This funeral service incorporates a final committal process, and there is no procession to the cemetery or crematorium.

Memorial
